Growing The Marcellus Shale Panel Discussion SOLD OUT

Join us for a presentation as a national panel visits Washington County --- the state’s energy capital --- to discuss: “Growing the Marcellus Shale: How Safe Pipeline Infrastructure Delivers Energy to Consumers in Pennsylvania and Allies Abroad.”

Learn more about:

  • New and existing pipeline projects in Pennsylvania.
  • Pennsylvania’s role as the second-highest natural gas producing state and the role of natural gas in lowering carbon emissions.
  • Pipeline safety.
  • And why exports are good for Pennsylvania and the United States --- an issue that gets attention for all the wrong reasons.

Among our panelists:

Brigham McCown most recently served as a senior advisor to current U.S. Transportation Sec. Elaine Chao. He has held executive posts in three presidential administrations, advised multiple presidential campaigns, and served on two presidential transition teams. Also a retired Naval Officer and Naval Aviator, Brigham was the first head of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), which regulates pipelines. He is now chairman of the Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure.

After HHS, Craig moved to the Department of Energy where he served as the department’s chief spokesman under Secretary Sam Bodman. He is spokesman for Grow America’s Infrastructure Now (GAIN), a diverse coalition of businesses, trade associations, and labor groups that share a vested interest in creating jobs and strengthening our nation’s economy through infrastructure development.
