Lake Superior Consulting Announces New Engineering Office and Regional Engineering Manager in Canonsburg

Lake Superior Consulting (LSC), an integrated consulting firm providing engineering, design, and integrity management solutions to clients in the oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and the addition of John Henning, PE, as Regional Engineering Manager. LSC has been playing an increasing role in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 2012 and has an existing office shared with parent company, Shawcor, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
“We are pleased to be opening our 8th office nationwide and expanding our presence in Pennsylvania. This location will position us to serve the Marcellus/Utica region with a robust, on-location team,” said LSC President Phillip Powers. “This market is experiencing growth in the natural gas sector and LSC is poised to contribute to the infrastructure projects that support this advancement,” Powers continued.
John Henning has been hired as Regional Engineering Manager of the Canonsburg office. Henning, formerly of Dawood Engineering, brings nearly 15 years of
experience working in the energy sector in the northeast and across the nation. Henning will be responsible for hiring a local team and is actively seeking new talent.
“John’s understanding of this region and the unique needs of clients in this area make him a great addition to the team,” remarked David Hokanson, Director of Integrated Engineering for LSC.
