Fisher Associates expands its Western Pennsylvania presence

Rochester-based consulting firm Fisher Associates moved into a new office space in Canonsburg, about doubling its square footage and employee capacity in the area, according to a news release.

The company moved its operations from 2,812-square-foot space at 400 Southpointe Boulevard to a 5,321-square-foot space at 121 Hillpointe Drive. So far, Fisher Associates increased its employee count by three in Canonsburg, with plans to hire more in 2020, according to the release.

“Our transportation and energy markets are already very active [in Western Pennsylvania],” Fisher Associates CEO Roseann Schmid said in a prepared statement. “In addition, we are seeing tremendous opportunity for our land development sector.”

The consulting firm employs 120 people total between the Canonsburg operations and its other offices in Rochester, Erie, Buffalo and Syracuse.
