Dog care facility opening in Washington

Stephanie Cook is opening Pampered Paw Resort, a dog care and do-it-yourself dog-washing location at 254 N. Main St., Washington.

She is labeling it as an “all-inclusive dog care facility.” Dogs will have a playroom, mingle with other dogs, take walks in a side yard and relax in a fenced-in area — while being monitored by staff.

Dogs must be up to date on distemper, rabies and Bordetella vaccinations.

There will be a grand opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 724-413-3135.
